Terms of Service

1. Who can use Kindra

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we discover that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it immediately.

Kindra is available globally where not prohibited by local law.

2. Your account

We use passwordless email sign-in (magic links). You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. Do not share your sign-in links.

One account per person. Creating duplicate accounts or impersonating another person is prohibited.

3. Community guidelines

Kindra is a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community. The following are prohibited and will result in immediate account removal:

• Homophobic, biphobic, transphobic, or other discriminatory content.
• Harassment, threats, or hate speech of any kind.
• Sharing sexual content involving minors (CSAM) — we report to authorities.
• Non-consensual sharing of intimate images.
• Scamming, catfishing, or commercial solicitation (escort ads, etc.).
• Spam, bots, or automated use of the service.
• Outing someone's identity or orientation without their consent.

We take reports seriously. Use the in-app report button on any profile or message.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content (photos, bio text) that you upload to Kindra. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your content to other users within the app. We do not claim any other rights to your content.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload. Do not upload photos of other people without their consent.

5. Our content and service

Kindra and its design, code, and brand are our property. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the service.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature at any time. We will give reasonable notice for significant changes.

6. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Me → Account → Delete account in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your profile, photos, matches, and messages will be purged within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Kindra is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find matches, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that any particular feature will remain available.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kindra is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you via the app or email before changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
