Terms of Service

1. What Kindra is

Kindra is a daily empathy trainer for parents: scenario practice, short stories, and guided reflection designed to help you build a stronger emotional connection with your child. Some features use AI to generate content and supportive coach responses.

2. What Kindra is not

Kindra is not therapy, medical care, or professional psychological advice, and the AI coach is not a licensed professional. Coach responses are AI-generated supportive content. If you or your child are in crisis or need professional help, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

3. Who can use Kindra

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or guardian (or preparing to be one). Kindra accounts are for individual, personal use.

4. Your account

• Keep your password confidential — you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Provide accurate information when registering.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app.

5. Your content

Your reflections and journal entries belong to you. By choosing to share a reflection with the community, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it anonymously in the app and in our weekly digest, after moderation approval. You can request removal of a shared reflection at any time.

6. Community rules

When sharing reflections with the community, do not include:

• Names or identifying details of your child, family, or others.
• Abusive, harmful, or unlawful content.
• Spam, advertising, or content that isn't a genuine reflection.

All shared reflections are reviewed before publication. We may reject or remove content that breaks these rules, and repeated abuse may lead to account suspension.

7. Paid features

Kindra's core daily session is free. Optional premium features (“Kindra Plus”), when available, are billed through Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Google Play account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to access other users' data or our systems.
• Don't reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its AI features.
• Don't use Kindra for any unlawful purpose.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Kindra is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using Kindra at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
